Spa Safety Guidelines

Spa services are a high-contact environment that necessitates interaction in violation of social distancing rules; however, adherence to the rules developed by the State of Connecticut can mitigate the risk this contact poses. While these rules provide a way for our spa to reopen as safely as possible, risks to customers and employees cannot be fully mitigated. Customers who choose to visit our spa at this time should be aware of potential risks. Individuals over the age of 65 or with other health conditions should not visit Personal Service establishments, but instead continue to stay home and stay safe.

Guests wanting to enjoy a spa service while visiting the resort will need to make an appointment in advance.  Appointments can be made by calling the spa directly at 860-577-3555 or dialing extension 2068 from your room.

Guests visiting the spa are required by State Guidelines to bring and wear masks or cloth face coverings that completely cover the nose and mouth unless doing so would be contrary to his or her health or safety due to a medical condition.

In accordance with State Guidelines our Relaxation Room will be closed at this time. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your first appointment to sign in and fill out a health consultation. Guests will be met by their service provider at the entrance to the spa and brought directly to the treatment room where their service will take place.  Guests will be able to change in the treatment room to eliminate using common area locker rooms and lockers. Our showers will not be available for use. Guests are asked to leave personal items and valuables in their hotel rooms safe or at home when coming for their spa services.

Treatment rooms and all equipment will be cleaned and disinfected between clients.  Clients will not be permitted to arrive early or stay at the spa following their service so that multiple clients are not entering or exiting the spa at the same time.

In accordance with State Guidelines our Sauna and Steam Rooms are closed at this time.  Guests having spa services will not be allowed access to the resorts indoor pool because the maximum capacity has been limited by the State and only overnight guests of the resort will be allowed access.
