Here you will find the answers to some common questions regarding our Spa, our policies, and tips to enhance your spa experience.
Q: When is the spa open?
A.The Spa at Water’s Edge is open year round Sunday thru Thursday 9:00am to 8:00pm, Friday and Saturday 9:00am to 9:00pm.
Q: Do I need to be a guest of the Resort to have Spa treatments?
A. The Spa welcomes both hotel and area guests to enjoy spa services. As a Spa guest you will have use of our indoor facilities so remember to bring your swimsuit. Please note that use of the resort's outdoor pool and beachfront is reserved for the exclusive use of its hotel guests.
Q. When should I check in?
A. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure you are on time, can change into the robe and sandals provided for you, and complete a consultation form for your provider. Guest arriving late for their scheduled appointment will receive only the remaining time for that appointment. Guests of the spa are welcome to utilize the facilities for the entire day of their services both prior to and following their spa services.
Q: Where can I store my personal articles while at the spa?
A. You will be provided with a locker to hold any personal articles you may have with you. However, we do recommend that you leave valuables at home or in your hotel room safe as we cannot be responsible for loss or damage.
Q: How do I make spa reservations?
A. Reservations can be made by calling the spa at 860-399-5901 ext2063. A credit card is required to hold all reservations and we highly recommend booking in advance to ensure that your preferred time and service is available.
Q. How can I leave a gratuity for my provider?
A. For your convenience an 18% gratuity will be added for each service to your final bill. If your experience with us was exceptional and you would like to leave a gratuity greater than the 18% please let us know when you are checking out.
Q. What forms of payment does the spa accept?
A. Spa services can be charged to your Hotel Room or paid for using Cash, Water’s Edge Gift Cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
A. Please allow 24 hours notice for any change or cancelation of your service. Cancelations within 24 hours will be charged the full price of the service including an 18% gratuity.
Q. Can teens enjoy the spa?
A. Teens 18 years of age or older are welcome to enjoy any treatments offered at the Spa. Teens younger than 18 years of age can enjoy our Teen Facial or any Nail Services.
